Celebrate the vibrant spirit of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District during our First Saturday festivities. Whether you are an art enthusiast, a collector, or simply looking for an inspiring day out, join us for a full day of immersive exhibits, live music, and direct engagement with the talented artists who define our local creative landscape.
July 4th Celebrations
In addition to our normal First Saturday going-ons. In July we will also have patriotic cupcakes for guests, face painting and clowning around by the fabulous Hartsy and Rota Gilla, hot dogs on the lawn at Jane’s Art Center from 3-7 pm and our Guitars for Vets instructors serenading us from 4-7 pm.
Art Connections

An inside look at the work of more than 60 local artists, with many in attendance. Talk to the artists and learn about the process of creating art. Explore two floors of art in one historic building in the heart of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District.

Gallery Walk
4-7 PM
The Hub and Jane’s also participate every 1st Saturday in Canal Street’s Gallery Walk. Stroll through the town and visit five participating galleries; The Hub on Canal, Jane’s Art Center, Arts on Douglas, The Artists’ Workshop, and Wirth Gallery.

What is the "Gallery Walk" and which locations are included?
The Gallery Walk is a self-guided evening tour held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. You can stroll through the Historic District and visit five participating locations: The Hub on Canal, Jane’s Art Center, Arts on Douglas, The Artists’ Workshop, and Wirth Gallery.
Connect, Create, Celebrate: Your First Saturday Destination.
Visitors can expect a dynamic, multi-sensory experience. The day begins at 10:00 AM with an inside look at the work of over 60 local artists across two floors of a historic building. As the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts into the vibrant Gallery Walk (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM), featuring live, free musical performances from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM and rotating opening receptions at The Hub on Canal and Jane’s Art Center.
