Making Waves, initiated three years ago during a brainstorm session with Artist, Bill Gallagher and Curating Director, Jacob Coronado, it was designed to invite artists who typically do not exhibit in galleries to showcase their work at The Hub on Canal and Jane’s Art Center. This exhibition aims to open doors and foster a sense of community among a younger demographic
“Rage and Hope: the playlist” invites you to explore the transformative power of music as a tool for social change and emotional expression. Music acts as a powerful bridge to our emotions, enabling us to articulate our deepest feelings and promote healing by resonating with our shared experiences and fostering connections among us.
Is this a FREE Event?
Absolutely! This exhibition will open to the public on August 1st, during First Saturday Gallery Walk. The gallery walk is free to the public to hop around and enjoy the new art exhibitions throughout our local downtown art galleries. Visitors can enjoy beer and wine for purchase, while viewing the artwork on display and interacting with the community.

Join us for the third annual “Making Waves” exhibition, titled *Rage and Hope*, at Jane’s Art Center. Experience an interactive showcase where artists express intense emotions through dual pieces inspired by their chosen songs—one reflecting rage and the other embodying hope. Visitors are encouraged to bring their MP3 players or smartphones to listen to the tracks while engaging with the art, creating a unique, immersive experience. Open to artists of all levels, this exhibition promises to evoke powerful emotions and provoke thoughtful dialogue.
