Description:  Sing and dance through Hollywood history in this entertaining and educational review of the musical genre from the 1920’s to 2016.  Each session will feature introductory comments by the instructor, viewing of the entire film and a post-viewing discussion of cultural significance, major songs and themes, symbolism and historical context.  Film dates are as follows:

· April 11th, Coal Miner’s Daughter
· April 25th, Beauty and the Beast (animated)
· May 9th, Chicago
· May 23rd, La La Land
